May the Fourth Be With You

May 4 is unofficially known as Star Wars day and you can use this as a fun opportunity to celebrate this "holiday" at home with your kiddos. Below are some ideas to incorporate some Star Wars fun into your day....

Star Wars Inspired Home School Ideas

Home schooling is a challenge and keeping kids motivated when they feel like they are on vacation vs. in school is a really big part of that. Below are some Star Wars inspired home schooling ideas for your little ones.

Star Wars Journal Writing Prompts

  • Who is your favorite Star Wars character? Why?

  • If you were part of the Star Wars universe do you think you would be a Jedi or a Storm Trooper? Why?

  • If you could have your very own Droid, what would you name it and what would it be able to do? Draw a picture of your Droid.

  • Write a review of one of the Star Wars movies. What did you like about it? What would you have changed?

Star Wars Science Class

I found this awesome site that has a bunch of Star Wars science experiments for kids here.

Star Wars Recipes

Whether you want to keep it super simple with Yoda cucumbers, or get pretty ambitious with Han Solo Chocolate Carbonite Bark you can find a ton of fun recipes here.

Star Wars Viewing Party

In the off chance that you or your crew missed a Star Wars movie (I personally haven't seen Rogue One yet so you all know what we are watching for Family Movie Night!) you can find all the movies on Disney+.

Have fun with it and may the fourth be with you!
